One year ago, when I started using Roam Research, I struggled with the sheer emptiness of the daily notes page. Over time, I learned to enjoy it, but I quickly wanted more structure. That’s when I started building templates.

Now, after a year of iterating over a variety of templates, I have found a few that I use almost all the time.
